Altura Audio is a 24 track digital Pro Tools based Project Studio located in La Crescenta Ca. While many of todays serious songwriters and musicians have their own personal computer based recording set ups, we offer a home studio that is actually two studios in one. Joe Wood's (Room A) comes complete with a separate control room, as well as in-house classic Ludwig drums, Fender Amps, and vintage keyboards. Don't get me wrong, this ain't the Record Plant, but what you do get is an engineer/producer who plays great guitar and bass, 20 plus year drum machine programming & keyboard skills, and even some drums. (On second thought, better bring your own drummer). Larry Herbstritt's (Room B) is a separate studio which we use to sweeten the initial tracks when necessary if the customer wants to take advantage of Larry's considerable piano and synth skills and equipment. Larry is an accomplished award winning songwriter and film and T.V. composer with two number one hits to his credit. Larry and Joe were room mates at Berklee College Of Music many years ago and have been collaborating ever since. |
